Rob Branting, writing as Cap'n Ahrrrr Branting II

“No law, no map, no tide, and no landlord of the land could ever keep a true outlaw tied to shore.” — dedication to his dad, the Pirate Commodore

Rob moved to Ocean Shores and started researching his new hometown — and the research would not stop. What began as a guide became a six-chapter master dossier, and what would not fit in that dossier became a second, fishing-only volume. That overflow is the whole story of this shelf: local detail, refused to be shortened without being ruined.

He writes in pirate voice, but he researches like a local: verified addresses where they exist, WDFW and health rules flagged for checking, and folklore labeled as folklore. The books are funny, outlaw, and deliberately un-sanitized — and they still tell you, plainly, to respect the sea, follow the law, and leave no trace.
